We have over 100 floor plans to choose from when it comes to mobile or modular house design and development. Modern day modular homes are built to a much higher code and requirements than in the past. These homes are lower cost vs stick built but still built to a higher standard. There are no licenses needed in Maine to build a stick-built product. However, the Modular Home program is 3rd party inspected and there is licensing required to manufacture and to sell them. As a result, the customer gets a high-end product, 3rd party inspected for less than a stick-built home which has very little oversite in Maine. These homes are built in a facility, not outside exposed to the weather. Then they are shipped to the site and put together with a crane.
